Yome-ru" Health Information Mail: Reservations accepted for pediatric vaccination against the new strain of coronavirus

Reservations for vaccination against the novel coronavirus for children （ 5 years old ～ 11 years old ） Vaccinations are now being accepted from January 4 to February 3, 2011.
The vaccine to be used during this period is the pediatric Omicron strain XBB.1.5-compatible monovalent vaccine manufactured by Pfizer Inc. It is used in the first （ 1 ， 2nd ） and additional （ 3rd and subsequent ） inoculations.
* The monovalent vaccine corresponding to Omicron strain XBB.1.5 for children manufactured by Moderna is available at different ages. Please check the city website if you wish to receive it.

Fall 2023 start vaccination started on September 20, and those who have completed the first （ 1 ， 2nd dose ） can receive one dose during this period. Also, from the same day, the vaccine used for the initial （ 1 ， 2nd dose ） has also been changed to a pediatric XBB-compatible vaccine.
Those who wish to receive the vaccine should fully understand the advantages （ such as prevention of serious illness ） and disadvantages （ such as adverse reactions ） of vaccination, and consider it according to your physical condition and convenience.

*We have almost finished sending out vaccination tickets to those who are eligible for vaccination but do not have them. Those who have unused vaccination tickets at hand may use them as they are. Those who do not have the vaccination ticket due to loss or other reasons need to apply for reissuance. （ Please check the city website for details ）
*Appointment slots will be set up sequentially according to the vaccine delivery schedule from the government and how the appointment slots are filled.
