Don't Worry Alone] September 10 to September 16 is "Suicide Prevention Week"

Every year during "Suicide Prevention Week" from September 10 to September 16, we conduct educational activities for suicide prevention.
Last year, the number of suicides in Yotsukaido City exceeded that of the previous year, and according to national statistics, the number of suicides among elementary, junior high and high school students is the highest ever, indicating a serious situation. It is said that most suicides are not the result of an individual's free will or choice, but rather the end result of being psychologically driven to death by various worries and other factors. The city and related organizations offer a variety of consultation services, so please use them if you are troubled or if you notice that someone around you is troubled.
