Alert for approaching Typhoon No. 7

Strong typhoon No. 7 is expected to continue to develop and move northward, approaching the Boso Peninsula in the afternoon of tomorrow （ Friday, 16th ）.

In the event that evacuation centers are to be opened, information will be disseminated via disaster prevention administrative radio, Yomeiru, and the city website, etc. We ask all citizens to reconfirm their means of obtaining information, in addition to making necessary preparations and understanding dangerous areas.

If you are safe at home, there is no need to evacuate to an evacuation center.
